Revitilization Project
The Preston Street Revitalization Project is almost complete! In the Spring of 2010 we will be finishing up the landscaping and installing decorative pavers. The City has told us that this work will be completed by Italian Week, June 18-20th!
Throughout the summer the Public Art Project will be installed. This art project entitled "Postcards from the Piazza" will include 14 Granite columns with sculptures on top that define the cultural life of the Italian Community with a completion by September 2010. There is a dramatic art installation entitled "Bambino" that will be erected at the intersection of Preston and Gladstone Streets, on the east side. We anticipate that this major art project will be completed in the Spring of 2011.
