Ottawa Fire Services Band Brings the Spirit of Christmas to Little Italy

Known for its enchanting tree lights and diverse cuisine, Ottawa’s Little Italy will be adding some extra holiday magic this Friday, December 3rd as the Ottawa Fire Services Band performs on their Christmas float.  

In collaboration with the Preston Street BIA, the Ottawa Fire Services Band––who have been performing in Ottawa for over 52 years––will be bringing a traditional marching brass band style of music to Little Italy and performing holiday classics.   

This fun family event is free and open to the public. The float will depart from The Prescott, one of Preston Street’s oldest taverns, at 4:00pm and make its way north up to the corner of Preston Street and Larch Street, across from Mercato Zacconi, where the band will deliver Christmas classics from 4:30pm-6:00pm.
