Farewell to Flapjack's Canadian Diner
After eight years on Preston Street, Flapjack's Canadian Diner closed the doors to their Little Italy location on November 20th

After eight years on Preston Street, Flapjacks Canadian Diner closed the doors to their Little Italy location on November 20th. Flapjack's got their start as a wood-clad food truck on Bank Street in 2013. At the time, the Ottawa-based chain served only their famous buttermilk pancakes, which proved to be a huge hit across the city. Shortly after, Flapjack's opened a classic Canadian Diner on Preston Street, still boasting the wood and plaid aesthetic. Since 2015, Flapjack's Canadian Diner in Little Italy has been a go-to spot for comfort food lovers across the city.
Their busy summer patio and the delicious smell of deep-fried brownie bites on the street will be missed by the residents and business owners in Little Italy. But fret not Ottawa! Your Sunday morning comfort classic (or hangover cure) is not far away; this Ottawa-based chain still has delivery locations across the city. You can order Flapjack's Pancake Shack on Uber Eats, Skip the Dishes or DoorDash. Check out Flapjack's flapjacks.ca for more details.
