The beloved Mexican eatery began its journey as a food truck in Little Italy in 2021, quickly earning a loyal following with its bold flavours and vibrant atmosphere. It wasn't long before the team opened its first brick-and-mortar location at 60 LeBreton Avenue. After just a few short years, Torta Boyz outgrew the space and returned home to Preston Street. Known for its mouthwatering carne asada fries, refreshing margaritas, and infectious energy, Torta Boyz has wasted no time becoming a neighbourhood favourite once again.
During the 2026 Ottawa Italian Festival, its lively patio was one of the hottest spots on the street, complete with a live DJ, dancing, and a healthy dose of Mexican flair that added even more excitement to the weekend's festivities.
