50 Beech Street Mural

The mural at 50 Beech Street is meant to depict an ephemeral, surreal Italian vineyard landscape by artist Dominic Laporte. The Italian sparrow at the top right corner is Italy’s national bird. The roses, hills and mountain buildings are from two different towns in Cinque Terre on the north/west coast of Italy. The grapevine on the left is blending with the landscape image, as well as the arbor and wine barrel, both from a vineyard in Tuscany called Pacina.
